RN – Wound Care
Location: Wellington, Florida
Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts
Schedule: 5×8s, 40 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage inpatient wounds and skin integrity.
- Develop and coordinate appropriate wound care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and inpatient/outpatient healthcare teams.
- Provide education to patients, nurses, and healthcare staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and Florida Nurse Practice Act requirements.
- Support quality improvement and consistent wound care practices.
Requirements
- Current Florida RN license
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- 5 years of acute patient care experience
- 2 years of Wound Care experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Must live 100 miles from the facility
