Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position based in the designated location. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by following the nursing care plan, supervising ancillary staff, and ensuring patient safety. The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork and adherence to safety protocols to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift; valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift for CIRH only; a minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops and implements individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning from day of admission. Communicates patient status updates for team conferences to ensure continuity of care. Provides supervision and direction to ancillary staff, delegates appropriately, and maintains a safe environment following hospital policies. Participates in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. Maintains effective communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development through continuing education. Prioritizes activities for efficient patient care delivery.
