- Position Description:
Unit notes include a hiring process involving profile review with MedSol Clinical and an interview with the unit manager at the facility. The position entails scrub nursing requiring a minimum of one year of OR experience in orthopedics and spine. The work schedule involves varied shifts, no self-scheduling, with shift times typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. The assignment includes four call shifts within a six-week period, involving a mix of weeknights and weekends, with a response time of 30 minutes. Scrubs are provided. - Required Qualifications:
Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification; at least 2 years of OR experience; valid license to submit; proficient in EPIC electronic charting system. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with orthopedics, spine, robotics, and complex procedures is advantageous. - Additional Information:
Candidates should ensure they are in the state for the week of orientation, even if initial training is remote. The assignment is within a care setting that requires scrubbing skills, familiarity with trauma level considerations, and the ability to support multidisciplinary surgical teams.
