Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse Location TBD. This position involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in a clinical setting. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as performing health teaching and counseling to support patient well-being.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3-12 hour shifts, variable hours, open to days/evenings; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and 1+ years of clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing; additional certifications relevant to the specialty are preferred.
- Responsibilities include performing clinical documentation, utilizing resources effectively, executing medical functions, conducting health data assessments, coordinating patient referrals, and monitoring treatment plans.
- Additional information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and on-call during scheduled shifts.
