Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the scope of practice outlined by regulatory standards, hospital policies, and the California Nursing Practice Act. Job Details

  • Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, 0 years of experience required, ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Creates a healing environment through emotional support and patient engagement; assesses and interprets patient data, determines diagnoses, and monitors responses; collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans; teaches and supports patient and family education; contributes to team knowledge through informal and formal teaching activities; maintains professional competence and adheres to safety and compliance standards; utilizes technology for documentation and communication; demonstrates leadership and commitment to lifelong learning.
