Experienced OR RN needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Winchester, Massachusetts, just outside Boston. Join a fast-paced surgical team and deliver high-quality perioperative care in a collaborative operating room environment.

Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour days, 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• End Date: December 19, 2026
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000 - $3,160
• Call: As needed
• Weekend Rotation: Approximately every 6 weeks as needed
• Holiday Requirement: 1 summer or winter holiday as needed
• Orientation: 1 week
• Location: Winchester, MA
• Travel Note: This assignment is intended for non-local candidates

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Strong background in orthopedics, spine, and robotics preferred
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Epic experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a busy surgical environment
• Must be eligible to work in a travel assignment setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative nursing care
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical cases
• Support orthopedic, spine, and robotics procedures
• Prepare the operating room and maintain a sterile field
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical support staff
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process
• Accurately document care and procedural details in Epic
• Respond to call requirements and weekend rotation as scheduled
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining patient safety and workflow efficiency
