Job Summary:
Long Term Care Nursing Director Spring Grove, MN. This position oversees nursing operations within a 38-bed facility that provides both short-term and long-term care. The role involves managing daily clinical activities, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting staff in a fast-paced geriatric environment.
Job Details:
- Position Description: Director of Nursing with primary responsibilities including clinical oversight, staff management, and compliance within a long-term care setting. Responsible for administrative duties and ensuring operational excellence at the facility.
- Required Qualifications: MN RN license (must be current & active), AHA BLS certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum 2+ years of geriatric nursing experience, with at least two years in a long-term care nursing facility, and at least 1 year of management or leadership experience.
- Schedule: 8-hour days (mostly) with start time between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to assist on other shifts as needed.
- Additional Information: Must help out on the floor as needed. The candidate is expected to start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of acceptance. The unit is a 38-bed facility providing short-term and long-term care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Shift Notes: Primarily day shifts, but flexibility on other shifts is required.
- Interview Schedule: Interviews conducted Monday through Friday via phone or MSP (Managed Service Provider) interview process.
