Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 5 years of registered nurse experience
• At least 2 years of management or leadership experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing operations, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work occasional irregular hours based on departmental needs
• Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct daily operations within the nursing and patient care areas
• Provide clinical leadership in Labor & Delivery and support safe, effective women’s health services
• Maintain high standards of patient care across all age groups, from infants to geriatric patients
• Support and participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
• Ensure nursing staff competency and promote a culture of safe, effective care
• Assist with budget planning and support efficient departmental operations
• Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and local regulations, standards, and protocols
• Collaborate with the care team to help ensure smooth, patient-centered operations
