Job Summary
Land & Delivery (Labor and Delivery) RN in the local area. This position involves providing comprehensive maternal and neonatal care within a hospital setting, including labor, delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery, and GYN units. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, patient-centered care across various stages of maternal and infant health.

Job Details

  • Position involves caring for patients in Maternal Child Health: Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and Mother-Baby and GYN patients. The RN may be floated to other hospital areas as directed by hospital leadership or the House Supervisor, following guidance from the Charge Nurse or RN in the assigned department.
  • Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico or Multi-State Licensure; Basic Life Support (AHA) required upon hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) required upon hire; Neonatal Resuscitation Program required upon hire; STABLE certification preferred; Baby-Friendly certification and related experience preferred.
  • Experience Requirement: Three years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Medical-Surgical units. Proficiency with Meditech or comparable Electronic Medical Record documentation preferred.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • The position is open to candidates with at least 0 years of experience, but experienced candidates are preferred.
  • The role may require float to other units as needed.
  • The start date is 09/14/2026, with an end date of 11/21/2026.
