- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
Job Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Telemetry experience required
- At least 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology RN experience required
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting
- Comfort with procedural nursing, recovery support, and patient monitoring responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and provide pre-procedure nursing assessment
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide ongoing clinical support in the IR suite
- Assist with post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay care
- Support a multidisciplinary healthcare team in delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Care for patients undergoing biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures
- Contribute to trauma response care as part of the embolization response team
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and procedural protocols, including required hospital-issued attire when applicable
