Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Portsmouth, NH. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Interventional Radiology department of a healthcare facility. The position requires delivering patient-centered care during procedures such as angiograms, neuro interventions, biopsies, and other minimally invasive treatments, supporting a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Certifications: ACLS & BLS required.
- Education & Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) license required at submission; minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology or related procedural departments.
- Location Requirement: Candidates must reside within a 30-minute radius of the hospital.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include providing procedural nursing support for angiograms, cerebral coiling, biopsies, neuro interventions, carotid stenting, thrombectomy, kyphoplasty, ESI, hip injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, microwave ablations, and related procedures.
- Additional Information: The RN must be capable of working independently and efficiently, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Weekends are required per department demands, with 1-2 on-call nights per week and flexibility to pick up extra call shifts as needed.
- Submission requirements: Must hold ACLS and BLS certifications at the time of submission.
