Opportunity:
RN - IMC
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float requirement to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census eligible in hour increments, typically in 4-hour increments
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Patients include stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Primary patients and insulin drips managed on unit
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required - firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: any color accepted
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and specialty care services. The intermediate care unit consists of 36 beds and operates as a fast-paced, high-acuity environment supporting a diverse patient population. The facility provides comprehensive support services and maintains a strong focus on quality patient outcomes across all inpatient units.
