Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting. This position involves providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, and implementation of care, as well as supervising staff and supporting the clinical nursing team.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license and applicable healthcare certifications; minimum of 0 years of experience required; location within the healthcare facility.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license and applicable healthcare certifications.
- Additional Information: The ICU / CCU Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Nurses may be required to float to the needs of the hospital, which can be ICU, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), telemetry, or Medical-Surgical level of care.
