ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse Concord, NC
This ICU nursing position involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients within a 457-bed facility recognized for its Level 3 Trauma, Stroke Center of Excellence, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and Chest Pain Center. The role requires a skilled professional to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Location: Concord, NC
- Position Description: Critical care nurse responsible for managing ventilated patients, stroke and thrombectomy cases, overdose cases, endotool, CRRT, GI bleeds, and trauma patients.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; 2+ years ICU experience required; RN license required.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Support within the Department: CNA assistance, charge nurse support available 24/7, phlebotomy RN on-call, RT 24/7, hospitalist and intensivist teams available, telemetry monitoring using hardwire monitors and travel teleboxes.
- Technology/Equipment: EMR (EPIC), Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Philips monitors, Arctic Sun, Hemosphere, Belmont rapid transfuser, LifeFlow.
- Other Details: Flexibility to float across various units based on patient needs and staffing; orientation provided; weekend rotations every other weekend; no call requirement; work 75% of holidays; up to 6 days RTO approval; shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a; contract duration from 10/12/2026 to 01/09/2027.
