Job Summary
Endoscopy Technician in the ENDO LAB TECH specialty, located in the healthcare organizations facility, supports the operative and diagnostic procedures within the Endoscopy and Surgical Suite. Responsible for assisting physicians, preparing rooms and equipment, monitoring supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient surgical operations.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience Requirement: Two years recent experience (within the past 5 years) as Nursing Assistant II, C.N.A., EC Tech, or one year recent experience (within the past 5 years) in a direct patient care position in Perioperative Services
- Shift: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Schedule details will be coordinated according to the units needs.
- Responsibilities include assisting in endoscopic procedures, preparing and maintaining equipment, documentation, inventory management, and assisting in maintaining the operative schedule.
- Participation in staff meetings and mandatory programs is required.
- Assists in orientation of new personnel and participates in on-call duties as assigned.
