Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a large, teaching healthcare facility. This position involves providing urgent care services in a fast-paced emergency environment, requiring flexibility with rotating day and night shifts. The assignment duration is from September 21, 2026, to January 10, 2027.
Job Details
- Position Description: Replacement ER Nurse needed ASAP for a 16-26 week assignment with a rotating Day/Night schedule.
- Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Prior travel experience, and recent EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years are required. Large, teaching hospital experience is necessary.
- Schedule: Rotating Day/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Work schedule from Monday to Sunday; no block schedules offered. Bi-weekly orientation occurs on Mondays. Ensuring complete employment history and explanations for gaps over 90 days is required. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended, with vehicles equipped for winter months.
