Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Sonora This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department, following established standards and the nursing process. The position includes supervising and directing nursing staff activities and collaborating with healthcare disciplines to ensure safe, effective patient care.
Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, with licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS), and AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS certifications required.
- Experience: 0 years required.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsible for collecting relevant health data, analyzing assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with the care team. Participation in discharge planning and delegation of duties are integral to the role. All associates must receive necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment.
