The role requires flexibility in scheduling and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Position Description: ER RN position with flexible start times, requiring float between units. Candidates must have current certifications including BLS, ACLS, ALS, and TNCC, with at least 1 year of related experience. The shift hours are 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure with a state license (compact license acceptable), certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and a minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience.
- Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, care for ventilated patients, and perform procedures including central line care, IV management, and EKG interpretation. Experience with electronic medical records, specifically Epic, is required. Flexibility in float rotations may be necessary to meet unit needs. Candidates must commit to working three of the five designated holidays and provide two references within the last three years. All modules must be completed prior to start, with time spent on modules considered in work hours.
