Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Northwest Medical Center, ER Specialty. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The Nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills in delivering safe patient care within the Emergency Department setting.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), Arizona License, minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting within 2 weeks of offer acceptance, from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Arizona nursing license, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and at least 2 years of ER experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience (additional $3/hour), experience with Cerner EMR, willingness to float.
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide optimal emergency care, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care appropriately, and providing direction to staff in accordance with hospital policies and practices.
