Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with conscious sedation administration and patient monitoring
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
- Knowledge of hemodynamic support and Cath Lab medications
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
- Comfort working with EPIC and Merge EMR systems
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures
- Assist with cardiac diagnostic and interventional cases in the Cath Lab
- Support care for patients receiving implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, and interventional radiology services
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with clinical standards
- Track patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the broader cardiovascular care team
- Promote patient safety through best practices in infection control and radiation protection
- Provide clear communication and compassionate support to patients and their families
