Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry nurses in the specified location are responsible for delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. This role involves supervising and coordinating activities of nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing patient education to promote health and safety in a supportive environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 1900-0730, 36-48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of experience; experience working in an acute care facility; PALS certification preferred.
- Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessment information, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating care with the healthcare team, and participating in discharge planning. The role emphasizes providing a safe, healing, and caring environment while delegating duties appropriately. Applicants must have valid certifications and be prepared to work the specified schedule and duration as outlined.
