Job Details

  • Position Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care unit / Skilled Nursing Facility in Harvard, IL.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license, CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, graduation from an accredited nursing program with education verification, and a minimum of 1-year clinical experience.
  • Schedule: Shift is Days; 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • The registered nurse will perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with standards of care.
  • The role involves participating in performance improvement activities, supporting patient and family education, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
  • The RN will support system and entity initiatives for continuous learning and growth, including evidence-based practice guidelines and peer review activities.
  • Clinic and Ambulatory RNs will maintain patient flow, respond to telephone calls, and perform telephone triage of patients.
  • Additional Information: Utilizes clinical expertise to support the patients longitudinal plan of care, manages complex situations with critical thinking, delegates appropriately, and escalates issues to the chain of command as needed.
