Job Summary
Lumberton, North Carolina The organization is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a clinical assignment in the Labor and Delivery Department. This position involves providing professional nursing care to patients across neonatal, adolescent, infant, and adult age groups, ensuring compliance with professional practice standards. The role emphasizes collaborative patient care in a fast-paced unit with a focus on maternal and neonatal health.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AWHONN Intermediate, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); valid Washington state license or application in process; minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing; ability to work scheduled shifts from 10/05/2026 to 04/05/2027; and willingness to float as needed within the health system (float rotation may be required).
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, assess and plan nursing interventions, properly document patient information, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, and Epic experience is preferred.
- Travel Experience: Not specifically required but familiarity with Labor and Delivery units preferred.
- Submission Requirements: Must include proof of vaccination, references from the past 2 years (with at least one from a supervisor), proof of Washington license application if applicable, and all relevant certifications.
- Notes: No facility modules required; candidates must be willing to float and adhere to unit-specific floating expectations.
