Job Details

  • Location: Delano, California
  • Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery department, supervising and directing the activities of nursing staff, and coordinating care with other disciplines while employing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
  • Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; graduate of an accredited nursing program; registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; minimum of 3 years of experience in a specialized healthcare setting.
  • Licenses/Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS, S.T.A.B.L.E certification, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certificationall required.
  • Schedule: Nights shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting relevant patient data, developing and implementing care plans, supervising and delegating duties to healthcare team members, participating in discharge planning, and providing patient education. Candidates should have EPIC experience and be flexible to float to Bakersfield as needed.
