Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare setting. The role involves assessing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. The RN will work in an acute patient environment, ensuring holistic and individualized care while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in obstetrics with relevant clinical experience
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Responsibilities: Assessing high-risk obstetric patients, assisting with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, administering medications including epidurals and magnesium sulfate, and managing postpartum care.
- Additional Information: Must have Epic electronic charting system experience, with on-site testing requiring an 80% pass rate; no on-call requirement; weekend rotation is required; 36 hours of orientation hours.
- Other Requirements: Experience with antepartum, postpartum, high-risk delivery, and fetal monitoring is essential. A minimum of 2 years' relevant clinical experience is required; previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
