Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a facility setting, responsible for providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care within the Labor and Delivery department. Utilizes nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week from 09/08/2026 to 12/05/2026
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS (Basic Life Support); at least 1 year of related experience; location requirements as specified
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Additional Information: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the department; ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services; ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
