Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Previous travel experience required
- BLS – Required
- FHM – Required
- NRP – Required
- AWHONN Advanced – Preferred
- AWHONN Intermediate – Preferred
- Epic – Required
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Pending licenses not accepted
- Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility
- Must be willing to float between departments/units/facilities as needed
- Kansas and Missouri licenses, or compact license, must be in hand.

- IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood administration

- Internal fetal monitoring and IUPC
- Recognition and treatment of abnormal FHR patterns
- Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, antihypertensives, prostaglandins, and terbutaline
- Antepartum assessment and obstetric triage
- NSTs
- Sterile vaginal examinations
- Postpartum and couplet care
- Breastfeeding/lactation support
- Cesarean and postpartum hemorrhage care
- Newborn assessment and hypoglycemia management
- Neonatal resuscitation
- APGAR assessment
- Cord sampling and infant identification
- Epidural/general anesthesia and pain management
- D&C and tubal ligation
