Job Description:
The Intensive Care Unit provides care to acutely and critically ill patients who are at risk for life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN is responsible for intensive patient monitoring, assessment, and clinical interventions while working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients.
• Perform continuous patient assessments and intensive monitoring.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to clinical deterioration.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Promote patient safety and evidence-based critical care practices.

Requirements

Required:

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN License at submission
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• High school diploma or equivalent verification

Preferred:

• 3 years of previous ICU experience
• PALS
• TNCC

ICU/CCU RN opportunity in Oregon requiring active OR RN license, BLS, ACLS & NIHSS; 3+ years ICU experience preferred, with PALS/TNCC a plus.
