Job Details
- Position Description: Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promoting cooperation among the healthcare team. This position is represented by a CNA.
- Education and Work Experience: Graduate of a school of nursing; required. One year of recent acute care RN experience in an operating room; required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in the state of practice; required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor; required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Ensures patient needs are met, maintains unit noise levels, demonstrates teamwork, and adheres to infection control guidelines. Performs accurate patient assessments, recognizes emergency symptoms, and administers medications following hospital policies. Participates in staff education and training, adapts to environment changes, and documents accurately.
