Job Summary
ER Registered Nurse (Emergency Room) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing critical care in a Level IV trauma and stroke-ready emergency department with 10 beds and two trauma bays. The ER Nurse will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population across the lifespan, handling various medical emergencies independently, and working within a fast-paced environment.

- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM), with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment and stabilization, administering emergency treatments, assisting with transport, interpreting monitors, and performing phlebotomy
- Clinical Skills: Quick learning, independence, team player, strong practical skills; experience with trauma, stroke, cardiac and respiratory emergencies
- Additional Information: ER handles approximately 25-30 patients daily, with common drips including norepinephrine, nitro, heparin, amiodarone, and propofol; staff includes RN and RT coverage during daytime hours, with RN responsible for attending CT scans for stroke activations.
