📋 Responsibilities
The ED RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, including:
- Perform independent nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions throughout treatment
- Provide direct nursing care, therapy, and treatments according to established standards
- Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
- Provide patient education and health counseling
- Administer medications and perform delegated medical functions within scope
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Coordinate and facilitate appropriate referrals and additional treatment
- Monitor treatment plans and patient responses
- Provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Float to other departments when needed, provided the assignment is within the RN's competency and qualifications
✅ Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- ASN/ADN from an accredited nursing program required
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS – American Heart Association required
- Previous RN experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and emergency-care skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable providing care across varying levels of patient acuity

- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Additional specialty certifications appropriate to the department
🕐 Schedule
- Night Shift – 12 hours
