**Join Our Dynamic Urgent Care Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Alaska - **License Requirement:** MUST HAVE ACTIVE ALASKA LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMITTAL - **Experience:** Urgent Care experience within the last 2 years is required - **Vaccination:** Proof of Flu Vaccine REQUIRED - **Position Overview:** - Function within the Urgent Care Department to assist patients and medical staff in an ambulatory care setting. - Responsible for the overall operation and efficiency of the clinic. - **Core Responsibilities:** - Provide clinical services in collaboration with providers and clinic staff. - Lead and guide clinic operations, ensuring excellent patient care. - Maintain medication inventory and supplies effectively. - Perform necessary quality control checks with Point of Care tests. - Document all care and services accurately and in a timely manner. - Assist providers and staff, anticipating their needs for optimal patient care. - Communicate effectively with departments to support patients, providers, and clinic staff. - **Essential Functions:** - Participate in training, educational programs, and staff meetings. - Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean working environment. - Report defective or missing equipment and safety hazards. - Address employee and patient concerns in accordance with HR Policy. - **What We Are Looking For:** - Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience. - **Knowledge and Skills Required:** - Expertise in the nursing process and application in real-world scenarios. - Strong understanding of customer service and safety principles. - Proficient in assessments, needs anticipation, and specimen collection. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to multi-task, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Team player mentality with willingness to teach and seek help as needed. - **Physical Demands:** - Regularly talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms. - Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. - Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. - **Shift Information:** - Urgent care hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM with varying shifts. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
