Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Patient ratio 1:2. Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed. Half of weekend shifts required per contract.
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma ICU experience with 14 rooms and 16 beds
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the unit
- Adult patient population in a fast-paced trauma environment
- 91-day travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Level I Trauma ICU experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (PALS and TNCC preferred)
- Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance
- Preferred skills: ICP monitoring, ventilator management
- Candidates must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
