Job Summary
Critical Care Nurse, ICU Trauma, is needed at an organization in an acute care setting. The position involves providing specialized care for critically ill adult patients with trauma and neurological diagnoses. This role requires a highly skilled professional with experience in intensive care, working in a rotating day/night shift schedule.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 09/13/2026 to 12/12/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid license/certification, professional resume, professional references, and completion of skills checklist; 2 or more years of experience in Intensive Care Unit Trauma preferred, with at least 1 year of travel experience; must have 2 or more years of strong critical care experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in neurological or trauma intensive care settings
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The ICU Trauma unit cares for critically ill adult patients with a variety of neurological and multisystem conditions, including neurotrauma, stroke, status epilepticus, and spinal cord injury. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, and the unit census typically houses 22 patients with a bed capacity of 24.
