Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Telemetry nursing or acute care experience strongly preferred
• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:5–6
• Strong communication skills and confidence working night shift

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac and pulmonary needs
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret telemetry data, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and support care planning
• Collaborate with physicians, patient care techs, and the healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and safety standards
• Deliver compassionate care while helping patients and families feel informed and supported
