General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds - 36

· Number of Staff – 49

· Type of staff: for 36 patients

o Day Shift – 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 3 LPN, 3 PCTs and 1 secretary

o Night Shift – 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 3 LPNs, 3 PCTs

· Patient Ratios – Nurse/Patient = 6:1

· Type of equipment – IV pumps, Wound Vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo Pumps, Chest Tubes, Telemetry, PCA pumps, Bipaps, Epidurals

· EMR -

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Med-Surg Experience

· Be a Team Player

· Critical Thinking Skills

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Prioritization Skills

· Time Management Skills

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Wound Vac changes

· Wound Care

· IV insertions

· Insertion of Indwelling Foley Catheters

Best personality Fit:

· Willing to work as a Team.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· Active Nursing License, ACLS, BLS

Floating Area(s):

· 6A, 3A, 3South, 4South

Dress Code :

· Ceil Blue scrubs, no sweatshirts, no crocs-

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call(if any)

· Every other weekend shifts

· On Call when Census is low.
