Job Summary:
Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry specialization in an acute care setting. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with cardiac dysrhythmias, ACS, CHF, respiratory failure, pneumonia, and stroke. The role requires delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care during night shifts, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and patient management.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Maryland or a Compact license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI certification (on-site during onboarding). Two years of experience preferred; one year minimum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with Epic charting system, and community hospital experience.
- Additional Information:
- Patient ratios of 5 patients per nurse during nights.
- Every other weekend required, with some holidays as scheduled.
- Floating within specialty and lower acuity units as needed.
- Must be comfortable floating to sister facilities within scope with no restrictions.
- Must meet compliance requirements including labs within 72 hours of signing contract and submission of necessary documentation five days prior to start.
- RTO requests allowed up to 7 days; additional restrictions may apply based on facility policy.
- Candidates must accept assignments without an interview.
- Return traveler policies and extension options apply as per facility guidelines.
