Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Elmira, New York. This position involves working in a 22-bed mixed Medical-Surgical telemetry unit. The role requires providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. The schedule is primarily night shifts with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); valid license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of New York; 1 year of clinical experience in telemetry or medical-surgical nursing; available to commence work on 08/30/2026
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in telemetry units; certification in Telemetry Nursing or similar specialized training
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a mixed Medical-Surgical telemetry setting, with a focus on patient safety, clinical assessment, and timely intervention.
