Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Hopewell, VA. This position involves providing patient care on a telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and assisting with procedures such as line placements and dialysis. The role requires a team-oriented, reliable professional capable of maintaining accountability in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS & ACLS certifications; certified in telemetry nursing; no minimum experience required; located within commuting distance to Hopewell, VA
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong cardiac background; experience in step-down/telemetry with cardiac drips; SD/PCU experience
- Additional Information: Unit has 23 beds and 28 staff members, including a charge nurse, RNs, PCTs, and US. Typical procedures include line placements and dialysis. The dress code is all black scrubs or black pants with a red top for RNs. Staff will work every other weekend, with on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
