**Exciting Opportunity for Telemetry/IMC MedSurg RN!** Job Description: - **Schedule:** Days, 7AM - 7PM - **Patient Care:** Work with a diverse mix of diagnoses and acuity levels, including: - Respiratory conditions - Sepsis - Multiple co-morbidities - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years in a related nursing specialty. - **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver routine and complex nursing care while practicing independently. - Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health issues and resources. - **Education and Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only). - RN License in the state of Texas or compact. - **Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Complete bedside skills and competency validation with an assigned preceptor. - Fulfill annual competency verification requirements.
