Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night Shift, 12 hours, 3 days a week. Must be willing to work all scheduled shifts; no block schedules available.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a high acuity surgical trauma floor. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment handling complex cases, including surgical interventions and trauma patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical trauma patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform nursing procedures and administer medications as per protocol.
- Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records using EPIC.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical trauma specialty.
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is mandatory.
