Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in the Step Down Unit in Knoxville, Tennessee, will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working on nights shifts to support patient recovery and safety, with responsibilities aligned to clinical standards and protocols over a scheduled duration starting from September 7, 2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and at least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting. Certification modules for ACLS must be completed.
- Specialty: Step Down Unit
- Experience: 1 year minimum experience in a relevant clinical environment.
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift.
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours.

- Additional Information: This position is for a contract replacement requiring candidates to be more than 50 miles from the facility, with a permanent home address and SS number submitted. No floating or block scheduling expected; scrub attire is royal blue. EMR system used is CERNER.
