Job Description:
The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in the Operating Room (OR) supports surgical procedures while working closely with the surgical team, providing patient care, and ensuring proper protocols are followed in a complex medical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and provide surgical instruments and materials during procedures.
- Ensure sterile conditions are maintained throughout operations.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist in patient recovery post-operation.
Requirements:
- Active RN license.
- Certified as a Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) via CCI Certificate.
- ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
