**Exciting Opportunity: Registered Nurse Clinical Education Manager** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to transforming clinical education for nursing professionals. - Must have an ACTIVE ALASKA LICENSE at the time of submission. - Proof of FLU VACCINE REQUIRED. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Clinical Education Leadership:** - Design, teach, and evaluate training programs that meet regulatory requirements. - Maintain an ongoing clinical education program for staff to ensure competencies and certifications. - Serve as an internal training and organizational development consultant. - **Collaboration and Support:** - Work alongside site and department managers to identify clinical education needs. - Provide career development resources to support both professional and non-professional staff. - Promote best practices for educational maintenance across all locations. - **Regulatory Compliance:** - Coordinate educational activities related to BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and trauma care. - Ensure compliance with state trauma programs and maintain trauma registry standards. - **Quality Improvement:** - Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of educational activities to enhance healthcare delivery. - Collaborate with departments to foster a superior clinical learning environment. - **Supervisory Responsibilities:** - Oversee the implementation and coordination of programs while leading the clinical education team. - Supervise trauma registrars and assist in maintaining education and recertification for trauma designations. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** - Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. - Current, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska required. - **Experience:** - Minimum of 3 years professional clinical instructor experience. - At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years as a staff RN in ER, ICU, OB, or OR. - Prior Emergency Room/Trauma and Remote Rural experience is preferred. - **Certifications:** - ACLS, BLS, PALS are mandatory; TNCC instructor certification preferred. - Ongoing maintenance of certifications and licensure is required. **Skills Required:** - Effective communication (oral and written) within multi-disciplinary teams. - Ability to develop relevant training programs that adhere to evidence-based practices. - Strong evaluation skills for assessing educational activities and their outcomes. **Physical Demands:** - Ability to perform moderate physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs. - Regularly required to engage in conversation and active movement within a clinical setting. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
