**Exciting Opportunity: Behavioral Psych RN - Days** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team in our Geropsychiatric Unit, providing comprehensive nursing care. - Be a vital part of patient care by: - Assessing, monitoring, and reporting changes in patient conditions. - Performing mental and physical assessments. - Maintaining accurate patient reports and medical histories. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring the highest standards of care. - Engage with patients through daily activities, individual therapeutic sessions, and group education. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team for effective individualized treatment plans. - Conduct therapies tailored to patient diagnoses and needs. - Create efficient discharge plans, obtaining accurate patient histories upon admission. - Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner, including: - Admission paperwork - Assessments (mental and physical) - Progress notes - Uphold the quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and regulatory requirements. **Job Requirements:** - Education: - 2-year Associates degree or diploma from a 3-year Nursing program required. - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Must possess a valid State of New Hampshire RN license. - BLS certification required. - Experience: - Minimum of 1 year previous nursing experience preferred. - Familiarity with medical terminology is required. - Other Skills Required: - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
