Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position available in the area. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, and substance abuse. The RN will be responsible for managing patients requiring Heparin drips and other critical interventions, supporting a team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, diploma or degree in nursing, at least 2 years of experience working in a progressive care setting, current BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Heparin drips and managing patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
- Additional Information: The position involves caring for patients with complex conditions requiring vigilant monitoring and intervention, adhering to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and maintaining compliance with hospital protocols. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/08/2026 and end on 12/05/2026.
