Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse working in Burlington, Massachusetts. This 8-week assignment involves night shifts with every other weekend required. Candidates must have experience with Epic electronic health record systems and be able to titrate pressors. The role includes floating to various units such as emergency department Holds, inpatient holds, post-anesthesia care units, and other boarding units, with floating in 4-hour blocks. The start date is September 7, 2026.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Epic experience, ability to titrate pressors, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, upcoming or current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, NIHSS certification preferred, Level 1 trauma experience preferred or required if no prior travel experience, must be separated from the organization for a minimum of 6 months to be considered.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday for days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for nights), weekly start date on Mondays.
- Additional Information: The assignment requires passing/failing day one testing, with practice tests available via Relias. Floating to other units may occur in 4-hour increments, and candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment.
