Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position located in CASA GRANDE, Arizona. This role involves providing direct patient care in a specialized unit that bridges inpatient acute care and outpatient services. The nurse will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of clinical experience as a registered nurse in an acute care or similar setting within the past 12 months
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification in relevant nursing specialty preferred
- Additional Information: The role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. Must possess physical agility and reaction time to respond swiftly to patient needs. Ability to use proper body mechanics to assist with patient mobility and transferring. Will need to communicate effectively in person and on the telephone, with ability to read and write in English.
