Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse in a healthcare facility environment. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a progressive care setting, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to clinical standards. The role requires flexibility to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid drivers license, at least 2 years of previous step-down experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, active state license in Iowa, work history/resume, recent skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission, license verification, copy of certifications, one supervisory reference required at time of submission. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on drivers license.
- Preferred Qualifications: First-time traveler candidates are eligible.
- Orientation Schedule: Beginning on 09/14/2026 and over subsequent dates including 09/28/2026, 10/12/2026, 10/26/2026, 11/09/2026, 11/23/2026, and 12/07/2026.
- Additional Information: The traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge in patient care, may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses, and will have access to multiple multipliers for callbacks and on-call responsibilities.
