Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position is located in an acute cardiac care setting. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for professional growth and mentoring. The assignment dates are from September 6, 2026, to December 5, 2026, with a schedule of 12-hour days and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts on days, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license/verification, drivers license or state ID, professional profiles, two professional references, and a Resume are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: This unit specializes in caring for patients with heart failure, acute coronary syndrome/myocardial infarction, ST-elevation myocardial infarction, post-catheterization, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker/defibrillator placement, pre-surgical procedures (VAD, transplant, CABG), pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac medications. The team works collaboratively to support staff and patients, providing high-level care in a dedicated, Joint Commission-certified environment.
